Overview & Insights

"And more than ever believers were added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women." (Acts 5:14)

Luke describes the early Jerusalem church gathering publicly at Solomon's Portico, performing many signs and wonders through the apostles. Crowds bring their sick into the streets, hoping even Peter's shadow might heal them, and people flock in from the surrounding towns.
