"When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth." (John 16:13)

In the Farewell Discourse Jesus promises the Advocate, the Spirit of truth, who will testify about him and lead the disciples into all truth. He explains that his own departure makes way for the Spirit who will guide, convict the world, and glorify Christ.
