Overview & Insights

"Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful." (Luke 6:36)

In the Sermon on the Plain Jesus calls his followers to be merciful as their Father is merciful, and to stop judging and condemning. He warns against the blind leading the blind and against pointing at the speck in a neighbor's eye while ignoring the log in one's own.
