"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you." (John 14:27)
In his farewell discourse Jesus tells the disciples that whoever loves him will keep his word, and the Father will send the Holy Spirit as Advocate to teach them and remind them of all he has said. He leaves them a peace unlike the world's peace, so their hearts need not be troubled or afraid as he prepares to go away and return to the Father.
