"So we do not lose heart. Even though our outer nature is wasting away, our inner nature is being renewed day by day." (2 Corinthians 4:16)
Paul says the same Spirit of faith that made him speak sustains him under affliction, because the God who raised Jesus will raise believers with him. He does not lose heart while the visible body wastes away, trusting that a slight momentary trouble prepares an eternal weight of glory and an everlasting dwelling from God.
