"Jesus was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, just as the builder of a house has more honor than the house itself." (Hebrews 3:3)

Hebrews calls Jesus the apostle and high priest of the Christian confession and compares him to Moses, who was faithful as a servant within God's house. Jesus is greater, the author argues, because he is faithful as a son over the house rather than a servant within it, and believers are that house if they hold their confidence firm.
