"Today I have rolled away from you the disgrace of Egypt." (Joshua 5:9)

After the new generation is circumcised and keeps the Passover at Gilgal, the manna that sustained Israel in the wilderness stops the very next day as the people eat the produce of Canaan. The place name Gilgal plays on the Hebrew word for rolling away disgrace.
