"Our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ" (Philippians 3:20).
Paul urges the Philippians to imitate his example and warns against those whose conduct makes them enemies of the cross, minds set only on earthly things. He reminds them that their true citizenship is heavenly, and that Christ will transform their lowly bodies to be like his own glorious body.
