Overview & Insights

"For mortals it is impossible, but not for God; for God all things are possible." (Mark 10:27)

A man runs up to Jesus asking what he must do to inherit eternal life, and Jesus tells him to sell what he has and follow, but he goes away grieving because he has many possessions. Jesus then teaches how hard it is for the wealthy to enter the kingdom and promises that those who leave everything for his sake will receive a hundredfold.
