Thirty-second Sunday in Ordinary Time

Overview & Insights
"Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the treasury." (Mark 12:43)
Jesus warns the crowd against scribes who love status and devour widows' houses. Then, watching people give to the temple treasury, he points out a poor widow who drops in two small coins and says she has given more than all the rest, because she gave out of her poverty everything she had to live on.
