Overview & Insights

"Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him." (Psalm 62:8)

David repeats his refrain that God alone, not schemes or wealth, is his rock and refuge, first as a personal confession and then as a call to the whole congregation. The psalm goes on to weigh human beings, of low estate or high, as lighter than a breath on the scales.
