A Wisdom Hidden and Now Revealed: What No Eye Has Seen
February 15, 2026
Overview & Insights
"What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the human heart conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him." (1 Corinthians 2:9)
Paul distinguishes the wisdom he preaches, God's secret plan centered on the crucified Christ, from the passing wisdom of the rulers of this age. He insists that this wisdom cannot be worked out by human reasoning but has been revealed by the Spirit, who alone searches even the depths of God.
