"Do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven." (Luke 10:20)
Jesus sends seventy(-two) disciples ahead of him in pairs to towns he intends to visit, instructing them to travel light, accept hospitality, heal the sick, and pronounce the kingdom's nearness, or shake off the dust if rejected. When they return rejoicing over their power over demons, Jesus redirects their joy to their names being written in heaven.
