“Restore us, O God; let your face shine, that we may be saved.” (Psalm 80:3)

The psalmist cries out to the Shepherd of Israel to stir up his might and come to save his people, who have been fed with the bread of tears. Three times the prayer repeats its refrain, pleading for God's face to shine and bring restoration.
