“Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all that night the LORD drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land.” (Exodus 14:21)
The angel of God and the pillar of cloud stand between Israel and the Egyptians as the LORD drives back the sea and Israel passes through on dry ground. The waters return upon Pharaoh's army, and Israel sees the great power of the LORD and believes.
