"The kingdom of God has come near to you." (Luke 10:9)
Jesus sends seventy disciples ahead of him in pairs, instructing them to travel light, heal the sick, and announce that the kingdom of God has come near, whether they are welcomed or not. When they return rejoicing over their power over demons, Jesus redirects their joy to their names being written in heaven.
