"Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look at the earth beneath; for the heavens vanish like smoke, the earth will wear out like a garment... but my salvation will be forever." (Isaiah 51:6)
The LORD calls his people to attend as he promises that his teaching and justice will go out as a light to the peoples. Though the heavens vanish like smoke and the earth wears out like a garment, God declares that his salvation and righteousness will endure forever.
