"Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, are crying out." (James 5:4)
James pronounces judgment on the rich who have hoarded wealth while defrauding their workers of their wages. Their gold and silver have corroded as a witness against them, for they have lived in self-indulgent luxury and condemned the righteous while the cries of the harvesters reach the ears of the Lord.
