“I myself will take a sprig from the lofty top of the cedar and will set it out … and it will bear branches and produce fruit and become a noble cedar.” (Ezekiel 17:22-23)

God promises to take a tender sprig from the top of a cedar and plant it on a high mountain, where it will grow into a noble tree sheltering every kind of bird, a sign that the Lord brings low the high tree and makes the low tree flourish.
