“Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done.” (Revelation 22:12)
John sees the river of the water of life flowing from the throne of God and the Lamb, with the tree of life on either side bearing leaves for the healing of the nations. Revelation closes with Christ's promise of his soon return, his claim to be the Alpha and Omega, and an invitation for the thirsty to come and take the water of life.
