"For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes." (Romans 10:4)
Paul explains that Gentiles attained a righteousness that comes by faith while Israel, pursuing a law of righteousness, stumbled over the stone God laid in Zion. He testifies to his longing for Israel's salvation and their zeal that is not according to knowledge of God's righteousness.
