Peter Proclaims the Crucified and Risen Lord

"Let all the house of Israel therefore know for certain that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified." (Acts 2:36)
Standing with the eleven on Pentecost, Peter proclaims Jesus of Nazareth as the one attested by God, crucified according to God's plan, and raised from the dead. He shows from the psalms that God would not abandon his Holy One to decay, and calls his hearers to know that God has made Jesus both Lord and Christ.
