“Your mastery over all things makes you lenient to all.” (Wisdom 12:16)

This passage reflects on God as the one who cares for all people and has no other god to answer to. Because his strength is the very source of justice, he governs the world with mildness, and by his example he teaches his people that the just must also be kind.
