Overview & Insights

"But the just man, because of his faith, shall live" (Habakkuk 2:4).

Habakkuk complains to God about the violence and injustice he sees around him and asks how long God will let it go unanswered. God's reply, that the vision will surely come and that the righteous will live by faithfulness, is one of the most quoted lines of the Old Testament in the New.
