Overview & Insights

"Before his coming John had proclaimed a baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel." (Acts 13:24)

Preaching in the synagogue at Antioch, Paul traces the promise from David to Jesus, the Savior God raised up for Israel. He recalls how John the Baptist prepared the way, declaring himself unworthy to untie the sandal of the one who came after him.
